I wish to introduce the Ministry of Church Planting and how it operates.
 
The Ministry of Church Planting and Extension (MOCP/E) is a division of The National Fellowship of Born Again Pentecostal Churches of Uganda (NFBPC). NFBPC is registered non-profit making organization; a national umbrella network of more than 20,000 Evangelical/ Pentecostal Churches and Para-church organizations. Further more this organization is premier network of indigenous Pentecostal institutions in Uganda. On the right is the General Overseer of the NFBPC and lift is the Minister of Church Planting/Extension.
 
Our Vision: Raising and Developing A mature self-producing Church in Uganda
Our Mission: To initiate, support, promote, sustain and empower Church-Planting and Extension through participatory Evangelism, Discipleship programs, leadership Development and Community Development Programs.
It works hand in hand with other umbrella organizations in the country (i.e. Evangelical Fellowship of Uganda (EFU), Association of Miracle Centre Churches in Uganda (AMCC), Christian Life Churches of Uganda (CLC) and Born Again Federation in Uganda (BAF), to realize the Unity of the spirit in the bond of peace.
 
MOCP/E is in charge of overseeing the church planting and extension of its member churches, organizes national inspirational conferences and seminars, training programs for church planters, mobile portable Bible Schools to empower local pastors and to support church planting initiatives/efforts. MOCP/E envisages producing quality strong foundation churches and leaders. It also embraces the whole Body of Christ as represented in the country, irrespective of denomination or umbrella organization. Its sole passion is to see A Mature Self-producing Church in Uganda.
 
The Ministry believes in researching, designing, improving, providing, and implementing the best latest approaches and systems to Church Growth/ Extension through which we expect to continue providing guidance, expertise and support to the grass roots.
 
OBJECTIVES:

  1. Forming a united strategic campaign on Church Planting/ Extension.
  2. Effecting an integrated national (Social and Economic) transformation.
  3. Networking Church-Planting/ Extension related activities both nationally and internationally.
  4. Partnering with both local and international Churches for church planting and extension planning, implementing of programs and activities, and provision of resources and funding.
  5. Inspiring the Church towards Evangelism, Discipleship and Church planting using the available resources.
  6. Organizing Conferences, Seminars and Summits in this respect.
  7. Capacity building and empowerment of Church leadership.
  8. Reinforcing, protecting and nurturing growing churches.
  9. International Relations on Church Planting/ Extension.
  10. Promoting participatory Evangelism among local Churches in the community.
  11. Resource Mobilization and fundraising for effective performance

The Ministry gets volunteers from its members to serve in areas of Evangelism, discipleship and leadership training etc.
