Children's Ministry

Our Purpose
It is our purpose as a church to minister to the children by providing a safe and loving atmosphere in which each child is nurtured and loved, presenting the Gospel by example.   We believe that children are not only the future church.

They are the church of today and have been given gifts and talents to be used by God. Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” It is our desire to provide training that will mobilize children to fulfill the great commission given by the Lord to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” (Starting in our own communities)

Foundational to all, is an awareness of the need to pastor the children by teaching them the difference between just attending church and having a loving and fun relationship with their Savior, giving over every part of their life to Him and living a life set apart to follow God. Knowing that… Those who know their God shall be strong and do mighty exploits.

We have classes for every age up through to 15 years.  Come bring your kids and bless them with the opportunity to meet with Jesus.

Starting at birth we know that God has a rich desire to make Himself known.  He does that though Loving people that invests in them early on.  Our Sunday School Classes are not just a place for “childcare” It’s a place where children truly experience the Love of Jesus. We believe that we need to share Jesus though caring, teaching, and celebrating the good news of Jesus Christ.  The programs are Christ centered and developmental.  

Vision
The Children's Ministry is to enrich and reinforce Children training in four areas:

  1. Bible knowledge.
  2. Character development.
  3. Relational development.
  4. The importance of being a witness for Christ in their own community and else where and participation in the work of God's kingdom.

How we can achieve our vision
The real success of this vision depends on the participation of the parents and the church members.

  1. Developing educative programs leading children to be knowledgeable in the things of God.
  2. Children will be give offerings in the boxes being provided.
  3. Lesson plans and ideas will be provided to teach children about evangelism and missions. (Outreach in community).
  4. Involving parents in the educative programs by the children’s teachers.
  5. Interacting with other Children’s Ministries or churches.
  6. Involving Children in church activities.
  7. Developing committed teachers in this ministry.
  8. Raising enough funds to run the programs.
  9. Getting connect to other ministries of the like vision.
  10. Organizing functions in which children will have the opportunity to use their talents.
